Customer Service Representative
Job Description:
6 day a week availability. Knowledge of insurance policies to
answer customer questions, solve ancillary underwriting problems and interpret insurance
guidelines accurately over the telephone or in person.
Must be a self-motivated individual with excellent problem-solving and computer skills,
and possess the ability to manage multiple responsibilities. In addition, they
must process customer correspondence from policyholders and insurance
carriers, and occasionally contact policyholders to verify and obtain
missing information. On the job training is provided.
Skills required:
- One year of customer service experience in a fast-paced, detail-oriented
environment
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Demonstrated computer proficiency between programs such as Microsoft
Word, Excel and most e-mail functions
- Excellent verbal, written and listening skills
- Must possess problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Organized with proficient documentation skills

Sales Representative/Broker
Job Description:
6 day a week availability. A Sales Representative at Lighthouse Insurance must be prepared
to provide counseling and education to customers about Lighthouse's products and services,
as well as promoting our products and services.
The ideal Inside Sales Representatives is prepared to provide
price quotes through the various
carriers with whom we conduct business.
A Lighthouse Sales Representative must possess strong communication
and interpersonal skills, with a proven record of sales abilities.
All sales are in house.
Inside Sales Representatives will complete an extensive, fully paid
training program with classroom and on-the-job training to prepare
them for appropriate property and casualty licensing exams.
Skills required:
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a complex, detail-oriented
environment
- One year of insurance sales experience or a four-year college
degree
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated computer proficiency between programs
